The Lausanne Marathon

Hello everyone!

If you don't have anything planned for this Sunday, I have something for you! One of the biggest sport event in the Vaud state: The Lausanne Marathon. It'll take place on 26th of October from 10:10AM.

The race is going to begin in "Place de Milan" but I adise you to go seeing the arrival just in front of the Olympic Museum in Ouchy. Of course, you can also go to some other places like Pully, Lutry, or even Vevey to see the runners (check the map attached). As the Lausanne Marathon is very famous, you'll have the chance to see many great sportmen and sportwomen.

Of course, there are also other races in different categories such as: kids, young adults and the semi-marathon. If you plan to begin running or doing some sport, you can buy some sport articles just there.

 

And if you're a bit hungry during the day, don't worry! Plenty of foods stands are going to be nearby the lake. But if you are looking for a good restaurant, I suggest you to simply go to the city centre (check our article about one of them).
