Today is sunday and sunday rythme with funday!
In order to enjoy it, I propose you to visit one of the best museum in Switzerland: The Olympic Museum in Lausanne. This magnificient building opened in 1993 and is situated in Ouchy, on the lake front. In it, it's all about the history of the Olympic Games; you can find permanent and temporary expositions about sports. In the summer, have a walk around the parc where you will find works of art.
A student ticket for a day costs CHF 12.00. It's quite an investment but you definitely won't regret it! Concerning the opening times, the museum is open from 9AM to 6PM from May to October and from 10AM to 6PM from November to April. Please note that it's closed on Mondays during the second period.
Useful informations:
- To go there, take the underground M2 to Ouchy (terminus)
- Audioguides are available for the price of CHF 5.00
After visiting the museum, I propose you to have an ice cream (if the weather allows it!) to the Loom Gelateria. You can enjoy there about 40 types different ice cream! If the weather is not good enough or if you want to eat something more, I advice you to go to the "Crêperie d'Ouchy" which claims to have the best crêpes in town! So have a go, and let us know :)
